About the Role
As a
Client Care Associate (CCA) , you'll be the welcoming face and helpful voice that supports our clients from the moment they walk through the door to the time they leave. You'll collaborate closely with our medical teams to ensure a seamless experience-offering clear communication, thoughtful service, and a calm presence during stressful situations. This role is client-focused and does not involve direct handling of pets.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and check in clients for emergency and specialty appointments in a friendly, professional manner Schedule and confirm appointments accurately and efficiently Maintain and update patient records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system Provide financial estimates and invoices, and handle payments Take deposits and process transactions at checkout Send medical records to referring veterinarians Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department with professionalism and courtesy Keep the lobby and front desk clean and organized Support clients with empathy, particularly during emotionally challenging moments Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital (as a technician, client liaison, or CCA) preferred Willingness to learn and grow within the role-training provided for the right candidate Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to learn veterinary software Familiarity with standard office equipment (fax, copier, credit card terminals, etc.) Basic math skills for handling payments and deposits Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Positive, professional, and respectful demeanor at all times Ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure A strong sense of teamwork and collaboration Compensation, Schedule & Benefits
Pay Range:
$19-$21 per hour, depending on experience Part-Time Schedule:
Includes swing shifts, evenings, weekends, and a holiday rotation Initial training schedule may differ Uniform allowance
