Morrison Healthcare is hiring for a Clinical Dietitian position at Roper St. Francis Mount Pleasant Hospital in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a part-time position with up to 32 hours per week. The dietitian must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and new grads are welcome. The pay range is $25-$30 per hour. The company has been recognized as one of Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work since 2012. Job Summary: We are looking for a part-time dietitian to join our team at Roper Mt. Pleasant. The dietitian will help supplement staffing during the weekend and during the week as needed. The dietitian may be responsible for the ICU, the general medicine floor, and the surgical floor. Responsibilities will also include weekend coverage. Our team values teamwork, continuing education, and encourages coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team. We precept Dietetic interns throughout the year. Key Responsibilities:
Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population. Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual. Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies. Trains and mentors patient services staff and interns as applicable. Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs. Qualifications:
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required. One (1) year of hospital experience, preferred. Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
