Position Title Program Manager - Ashland Theological Seminary
Job Description
The Program Manager is responsible for executing and managing grant-funded programs at the Ashland Theological Seminary (ATS). This position focuses on the day-to-day operations of grant initiatives, ensuring programs meet their objectives, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing program logistics.
Program Execution and Oversight Implement grant-funded programs. Develop and oversee programs, workshops, events, and mentorship programs. Ensure timely execution of program activities and maintain alignment with grant objectives. Collaborate with ATS faculty, staff, and administration in program deployment. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships
Recruit participants for grant-funded programs and facilitate student involvement. Collaborate with external partners to enhance program impact. Financial and Compliance Management
Assist the Grants Manager in tracking budgets and financial reports. Ensure adherence to all grant compliance requirements, including program documentation and evaluation. Provide supporting documentation to the Grants Manager for annual and interim reports for funders such as the Lilly Endowment. Program Evaluation and Reporting
Collect and analyze data to assess program effectiveness. Develop reports and presentations to demonstrate grant impact. Coordinate program improvements based on feedback from stakeholders and participants. Required Qualifications
Master's degree in nonprofit management, or related field preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in program administration, grant-funded projects, or theological education. Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of basic accounting skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience in program development, workshop facilitation, and student engagement. Ability to collaborate with diverse partners and external organizations. Ability to perform duties with respectful communication and behaviors. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to represent the ATS with various constituency groups. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to respond to inquiries and requests in a professional manner. Be a hospitable and welcoming presence on the ATS campus. Physical Demands
Works in an office environment primarily engaged in sedentary work. Exerting up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking or standing occasionally. Worker is subject to inside environmental conditions.
