$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr Job Summary
The Preschool Administrative Specialist is responsible for working collaboratively with the Preschool Manager and Program Director to ensure all children receiving Special Education services through our Preschool Department receive high quality services which meet all State, County and Federal expectations. This individual must hold NY State Teaching certification, either Student with disabilities All Grades, Students with Disabilities Birth - 2 or Permanent Special Education
OR
hold the NY State LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker). Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct quality assurance responsibilities including, but not limited to, internal case audits, parent surveys and review of concerns regarding cases. Work closely with Special Education supervisors in the field to ensure all paperwork is processed in a timely manner. Conduct data entry responsibilities as needed. Review and analyze available reports regarding the consistent provision of services and report regularly to the Preschool Manager and Program Director. Monitor therapist productivity to ensure approved services are provided consistently and communicate concerns. Troubleshoot issues throughout the case lifecycle. Conduct training and workshops for the clinical team as needed. Ensure all cases meet state and county regulations. Provide coverage or assistance to the Preschool Department as needed. Attend Preschool meetings as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Education and Work Experience
Hold valid NY State Teaching certification or NY State LMSW. Experience working in a high-volume environment with organizational and multi-tasking skills. Qualifications and Other Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Initiative and decision-making ability. Organizational, time-management, and analytical skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Our Mission
