Job Title: Night Shift Medical Laboratory Technologist
Job Type: Contract (Nights, 8-hour shifts)
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our team for night shifts, following a structured clinical interview process. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering consistent, accurate laboratory services. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you'll work with state-of-the-art instrumentation and equipment, collaborating with board-certified pathologists and assisting in the management of laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, blood transfusion testing, and microbiology testing.
- Ensure all tests adhere to quality control standards for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and operate lab equipment according to protocols.
- Collaborate with fellow technologists and pathologists for quality assurance in laboratory practices.
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations while promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist is required.
- Availability to start in July is mandatory.
- Preferred candidates will have national certification.
- Flexibility for on-call duties may be required, including potential weekend shifts.
Schedule:
- Night shifts (8-hour shifts), 5 out of 8 hour midnight shifts.
