Plans and directs all aspects of the company's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops policies and procedures for operational processes to ensure optimization and compliance with standards and regulations. Represents the organization in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, and professional societies. Develops a sound short- and long-range plan for the organization. Ensures the adequacy of the organization’s financial structure and reviews projections of working capital requirements. Negotiates outside financing as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred. 5+ years in a top management role in government or healthcare industry required. Extensive experience in contracting, operations management, strategic planning, and staff management. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis metro area. Pay range: $275,000 - $650,000 per year. Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K, stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and flexible work options. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, education, and other factors. Total compensation may include incentives. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
