Overview
As a Burn Table Operator, you will work in the machine shop to fabricate various parts for pressure vessel manufacturing. You will utilize a plasma burn table and rolling equipment to produce components, while ensuring the shop is clean and equipment is maintained. Responsibilities
Operate and manage a plasma burn table and rolling equipment. Perform manual and CNC machining using plasma burn tables. Read and interpret blueprints to guide fabrication processes. Check tolerances utilizing calipers and micrometers. Perform quality inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment. Utilize computer programs to transfer engineering diagrams to equipment. Essential Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. Experience with CNC and manual machining. Ability to check tolerances with precision instruments like micrometers. Skill in operating plasma tables and rolling equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

This role is set in a climate-controlled metal fabrication environment. The work week includes 50 hours during peak seasons, with training hours from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday, 6 AM to 3:30 PM. Regular hours are Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 6 AM, and Friday, 4:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Employees must be open to occasional Saturday work, and the company ensures flexibility for family schedules. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
