Plastics Engineer - PET Recycling
Lead our product launch from R&D to production. Seeking skilled and motivated Plastics Engineer to join our recycled PET (rPET) manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production of rPET while maintaining safety, sustainability, and compliance standards.
About this Job
Analyze and optimize rPET manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality. Develop and implement process control systems to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards. Identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies, quality issues, and equipment performance problems. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation. Bachelor's degree in plastics, chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in plastics, polymer, or rPET manufacturing. Ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement. Strong knowledge of extrusion, decontamination, and filtration processes in rPET production. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
