Sr. SW Engineer - CSMS/OCPP SME (Bentonville, AR) Background : This is a long-term consulting role lasting 12-24+ months, with potential to convert to full-time employment. The candidate will serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the EV team's CSMS development. The role involves hiring and training two junior to mid-level team members. Terms : CSMS : "Charging Station Management Systems" OCPP : "Open Charge Point Protocol" Interviews : 2 Rounds (possible 3rd) Location : Must sit in or relocate to Bentonville, AR (hybrid work model) from day 1 Must Have Skills : Senior-level experience (10+ years) with Java, Python, or Golang frameworks 3+ years of experience in designing and developing CSMS platforms for EV charging stations Experience supporting CSMS frameworks with OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1 Understanding of EV vehicle and charger station protocols and guidelines Highly Desired: OCPP certifications Job Description: We seek a strong candidate based in the US to work hands-on as an individual contributor, guiding developers in CSMS development.
