Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Special Processes Operator
Plating/Plasma for the AWW (Alternate Work Week) shift operations (Friday - Sunday, 6:00AM to 6:30PM). Training may occur on 1st shift. 1st shift schedule is M-F, 6:30AM to 3PM. Shift earns 8% shift premium after training period. Overtime opportunity may be available after a period of training. Training is provided on-site. Responsibilities include: Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine requirements. Prepare parts for coating operations. Set up and operate grit blaster. Set up and operate nickel plating and/or plasma equipment. Nickel plate / plasma coat to specifications outlined in work instructions. Inspect parts to verify conformance with specifications. Complete required paperwork. Maintain clean work environment Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills is essential to this role. Ability to read and interpret work instructions. Qualifications you must have: Requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Qualifications we prefer: Prior experience within the aerospace industry. Prior experience with specialized coating application or plating. Fanuc robotic controls experience.
