Schedule: PRN Shift: Nights The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas The role you'll contribute: Conducts diagnostic and therapeutic testing for all classifications of sleep disorders in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the policies and procedures of the Sleep Center. Demonstrates the ability to conduct all types of sleep studies including overnight polysomnography (multiple montages), multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, positive airway pressure titrations, and supplemental oxygen titrations. This may include patient education, application of all sensors for testing, monitoring multiple physiologic data, and medical interventions as needed for treatment and patient safety. Scores all types of sleep studies, using established clinical rules and guidelines. This individual can work independently upon verification of competencies and Board registry by the Director of Sleep, designated trainer, and/or the Medical Director. The value you'll bring to the team: Perform all types of polysomnograms. Clean and disinfect all equipment. Educate patients about testing, sleep disorders, and treatments. Maintain proper levels of equipment and supplies.
