Principal Process Engineer
Job Type: Individual Contributor (Director-level equivalent)
Overview
A senior-level engineering role focused on providing technical expertise in process engineering for both daily manufacturing operations and capital projects. The position is centered around beverage production, with a strong emphasis on processing, filling, and packaging systems.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert in beverage processing, supporting operations, automation, and performance optimization. Lead the design and development of processing equipment and systems. Participate in all project phases from concept through commissioning and startup. Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, R&D, quality, and commercial teams. Maintain and update technical documentation such as P&IDs and process flow diagrams. Manage multiple concurrent projects. Occasional travel to vendor sites and other facilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. 8-10 years of experience in process engineering, specifically in beverage manufacturing. Hands-on experience with processing, filling, and packaging equipment. Familiarity with project lifecycle management and technical documentation. Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and process simulation software. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
