This role will also have two procurement managers reporting into them that manage “below the line” activation (BTL) and point of sales materials (POSM) and services – on and off trade. In this role you will drive the development of best practices for the marketing and sales category in NAM leveraging our global scale, maximizing total cost of ownership savings and enabling procurement value contribution. A deep understanding of business needs in NAM, supply market insights, risks and opportunities, are necessary to help deliver business goals. ABOUT YOU You have marketing and/or marketing services procurement experience of 8+ years. Knowing your way around SAP, SRM is going to be of real value along with excellent stakeholder and agency management skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
- WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE: Develop, implement and continuously review robust, future forward procurement category strategies based on business needs across marketing and sales procurement in NAM and Global Sponsorships. Leading and managing relationship with global and NAM ATL and BTL agencies by selecting, monitoring performance, SLA’s and continuous improvement activities where required. Negotiate and lead the commercial elements of NAM and some global contracts. Establish and maintain strong relationship with senior stakeholders in NAM to understand & define business requirements. Consult global procurement teams to provide local and regional insights when co-developing global strategies. Provide best practice toolkits and processes in marketing and sales services and sponsorship management for selecting and working with agencies in this area. Partner with other marketing Global Procurement Category / Regional Leads for synergies, alignment and maximizing value and ensure best service overall to marketing and marketing operations. A particular focus would be bringing Content and Media together. Support NAM initiatives and lead transformational programs to support the delivery of excellence in brand and communications planning and delivery. Inspire, lead, manage and coach two marketing and sales procurement managers. At times, there will be more operational/tactical issues to solve. Approval of purchase orders above a certain threshold is a key example. - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY: Procurement experience in marketing services procurement or marketing of 8+ years, preferably in a multinational environment and in complex matrix structures. Familiar with Strategic Procurement processes and skills. Able to manage in a matrix environment and to effectively engage with critical stakeholders of same and other functions. The ability to flawlessly execute in an environment with high volume and high complexity. Influencing skills / Directing Others. Expertise in agency remuneration and performance management. PERSONAL QUALITIES
