JOB DESCRIPTION: What you'll be doing Supporting machine specifications, procurement, validation, installation, pre-productions trials and launch of battery production lines Supporting battery manufacturing trials to confirm equipment safety, quality, operation availability, and overall efficiency Directly supporting other engineers with the construction and installation of battery equipment Participate in cross functional working groups across the local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn new processes as required Organize and guide cross functional activities across traditional company barriers with minimal assistance from management.
Travel: Upto 25% Domestic and/or International travel to Japan and other vendors. To check equipment, no hands on work. Travel would be after 6 months from starting the assignment.

Project management, Manufacturing Equipment how it works knowledge, Reading /modifying drawings and Good in Electrical Controls.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 10+ years of equivalent Experience in production preparation of manufacturing and experience in execution of capital projects, preferably from initial planning to start of production Experience in creating and implementing processes in a manufacturing environment Experience in detail schedule creation and utilization on capital projects for new or modified equipment AutoCAD experience, including the ability to read, interpret and modify 2D drawings Ability to work weekend and shutdown work (such as July and December holidays) as needed Steel Toe Boots required
