The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching university courses, developing curriculum, conducting research, and contributing to the academic development of the Communication, Media & Culture department. The role also involves engaging with students in and out of the classroom to foster a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Qualifications Experience in University Teaching and Curriculum Development Proficiency in Communication and Strategic Communications Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills Ability to work in an intercultural and diverse environment Ph.D. in Communication, Media Studies, or a related field . MFA and MA possible depending on qualifications. Commitment to the values and mission of Brigham Young University–Hawaii Seniority level
