OUR ORGANIZATION Twinspire is a young nonprofit in Los Angeles. We exist to ensure that each young person in our community develops the skills and confidence to fulfill their goals. We aim to lead by example, unlock potential, challenge, and support the next generation. This means that we hold ourselves accountable to measurable and ambitious goals. Twinspires Team: We have a small but mighty team. Our work is onsite at schools or the Twinspire office in Echo Park. We have four interns. We also have a part-time grant writer, program coordinator and full-time Executive Director. Six board members help guide Twinspire. We are currently looking for a program evaluator to join our growing team. Work hours and location: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm [Monday - Friday]Occasional Nights and Weekend Programs This position is Hybrid. THE POSITIONThe Program Evaluator designs, develops, and implements evaluation systems to measure the impact of Twinspires programs. The Program Evaluator will work collaboratively with the Executive Director, Program Coordinators, interns, and site partners to ensure that evaluation practices align with Twinspires mission, vision, and values. In addition to collecting and analyzing data, the Program Evaluator will build tools to assess program outcomes, communicate findings to stakeholders, and help drive data-informed improvements across all Twinspire sites, including youth probation programs, schools, and STRTPs.RESPONSIBILITIESProgram ManagementDesign and implement evaluation tools (e.g., pre-/post-surveys, feedback forms, interviews) for Financial Empowerment, Career Development, and Mentorship programs.Review and revise existing assessment tools to improve accuracy and relevance.Collaborate with program staff to ensure data is collected consistently across all partner sites.Manage timelines for evaluation cycles and integrate evaluation into program planning.Organize data collection materials, guides, and evaluation protocols.Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with partner site staff to facilitate smooth data collection.Support training for Twinspire team members and facilitators on evaluation processes.Collaborate with interns and contractors to collect, clean, and manage data.Reporting & AnalysisAnalyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program impact and trends.Provide weekly evaluation updates to the Executive Director, including key insights and challenges.Create and present quarterly impact summaries to the Board of Directors.Partner with the Executive Director to share outcomes with funders and stakeholders through reports, social media, the Annual Report, and external communications.Professional Development & GrowthStay informed on best practices in evaluation, youth development, and nonprofit impact measurement.Engage in regular self-reflection and seek feedback to strengthen evaluation strategy.Explore new technologies and methods to enhance data collection and reporting.Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in education, social science, public policy, or a related field.Demonstrated experience with program evaluation and outcomes tracking.Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and writing skills, especially in translating data into insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with data platforms like Excel, Airtable, or SPSS.Valid drivers license and state-required auto insurance.Willingness to travel to sites across LA County (Compton, Inglewood, Watts, South LA, Long Beach).Understanding of foster care services, probation systems, or STRTP environments.Commitment to Twinspires mission and values.Willingness to undergo and pass a background check.Experience preparing visual reports, infographics, or evaluation summaries.Comfortable working with diverse youth populations and staff.This role requires a proactive, flexible, and mission-driven individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to empowering foster youth and at-promise students through education and support.Bonus Qualifications: Lived-experience in the foster care systemBi-lingual in Spanish Pay Range Twinspire offers $25/Hr - $30/Hr Wellness Stipend of $75 monthlyOrganization-provided laptop, dongles, and portable chargerTwinspire GearFor first round consideration, please apply by 11:59pm on Friday, August 1, 2025.
