Addison Group is supporting the search for a Project Accounting Associate to join a growing team in a fast-paced, high-volume AP environment. With ongoing expansion and process improvements, including AI-driven AP solutions and an upcoming ERP transition. This role will play a key part in managing invoice processing and electronic payment integrations. This role is 100% onsite in Golden Valley, Minnesota, requiring candidates to reside locally in MN or Western WI to be eligible for consideration. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with project managers to allocate costs to appropriate jobs, phases, and cost codes Reviewing project budgets and tracking against actual expenditures Assisting with job cost reporting and variance analysis Full-cycle invoice processing, including 3-way match for purchase orders Managing vendor onboarding and maintenance Ensuring timely and accurate electronic payment processing (ACH, wire, virtual card) Supporting monthly close activities including accruals and reconciliations Coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure compliance with contract terms Preparing and maintaining project-related documentation for audits and reporting Participating in system enhancements, including testing and data validation during ERP implementation Supporting process improvement initiatives, including AI/AP automation rollouts Handling special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, project accounting, or a related finance role Familiarity with cost coding, job cost tracking, and project-based billing Strong understanding of invoice workflows and electronic payment processing (ACH, wire, virtual cards) Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced accounting environment Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs preferred) ERP system experience required; exposure to system implementations or upgrades is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments Ability to identify process gaps and recommend improvements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Why Work with Addison Finance & Accounting?
