We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer with a strong background in multifamily construction to support our growing portfolio of residential developments. This role is ideal for a technically proficient professional with a degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field. The Project Engineer will assist in managing construction documentation, coordination, and logistics across all phases of a project-from preconstruction through closeout.
Working closely with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors, the Project Engineer will play a critical role in keeping large-scale multifamily developments on time and on budget. Key Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing daily construction activities for multifamily projects, including podium, wrap, or garden-style buildings. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Support scheduling efforts by tracking project milestones and subcontractor progress. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent is met during construction. Help ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards. Attend on-site meetings and walkthroughs; generate field reports and follow-up items. Coordinate material deliveries and manage procurement tracking with vendors and suppliers. Assist with the preparation of closeout documentation, punch lists, and turnover packages. Utilize construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) for daily operations.
