Base pay range
$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Project Execution Engineer - Frederick, MD - Local job site travel and 1 office visit a week OR remote with occasional site travel - Skills: Design, bid proposal, estimates, construction support, commissioning - 130-150k salary + benefits, travel pay, pto, etc! Position: Project Execution Engineer Technical Proficiency : Minimum 5 years as a Project Engineer/ Project execution engineer in the energy sector. PE, CEM, or LEED credentials preferred or in progress. BSME, BSEE, or equivalent 4-year engineering degree with a focus on energy efficiency or renewable technology project implementation. Skilled in analyzing engineering drawings and implementing systems involving HVAC retrofits, VFDs, chiller/boiler plants, and distributed generation. Proficient with tools such as eQuest. Familiarity with U.S. commercial and federal regulations and codes (e.g., DoD UFC/UFGS, NEC, OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE, NIST, RMF). Experience with energy modeling, lighting retrofits, and energy conservation. Strong project management skills including scheduling, meeting deadlines, and leadership. Commissioning experience is preferred.

Experience with energy modeling, lighting retrofits, and energy conservation.
Strong project management skills including scheduling, meeting deadlines, and leadership.
Commissioning experience is preferred.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead engineering design and support for construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of energy savings projects.
Review and develop conceptual and detailed design documents, including drawings, estimates, and specifications for energy-efficient systems.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors on project feasibility and pricing.
Provide engineering guidance during construction and commissioning, including preparing technical reports and presentations.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards, codes, and company/industry practices.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Review project deliverable to ensure alignment with project goals.
Support third-party commissioning efforts as needed.
