Merrick & Company Overview Merrick & Company is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Senior Water Wastewater Project Manager position in our Denver, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs, or Loveland, Colorado offices. This position requires an experienced project manager with a successful track record of winning and delivering projects. Salary range for this position is $175,000.00 - $200,000.00. Join us and lead in creating sustainable water solutions for our communities! What You'll Do Manage a multi-discipline team of engineers and technicians on water and wastewater projects. Participate in strategic planning and work with management to identify growth opportunities. Adopt and apply company policies and procedures. Work closely with clients to define and deliver scope of work. Prepare and oversee fee proposals for design work. Lead design teams, perform planning and design tasks, review designs, and manage project delivery. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills for effective client and community engagement. Possess in-depth knowledge of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure. Experience with regulatory compliance and construction observation is preferred. Proven success in business development, project, schedule, and budget management for complex projects. Proficiency in client development and proposal preparation. Manage design teams, including engineers, CAD technicians, and subconsultants. Foster positive relationships with clients, agencies, and community members. Perform independent design tasks, peer reviews, and prepare construction documents and estimates. Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a plus. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school. 20+ years in infrastructure engineering with 15+ years in project management. Colorado PE license. Strong technical experience in water and wastewater projects. Proven track record of successful project delivery. Valid driver’s license, insurable under company policy, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Travel flexibility. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
