What you'll do:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Care Services, and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Pulmonary Laboratories, provides diagnostic pulmonary function procedures, bronchoscopy assist, conscious sedation, setup and interpretation of neo/peds event records, sweat chloride testing, and functions as a Respiratory Care Practitioner II as needed.

What you'll need for this job:
Associate degree in respiratory care required; Bachelor's preferred
Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required
ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) preferred
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred
Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) required within 6 months of hire
Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) preferred
Bilingual in Spanish highly desired
