Windows Systems Engineer , you will develop and maintain custom Microsoft Windows 10 IoT Enterprise drive images for embedded systems. What You’ll Do: Development, support, and maintenance of custom Microsoft Windows IoT Enterprise drive images (Windows 11 IoT, Windows 10 IoT, Windows 7 Embedded) for embedded systems. Research, evaluate, test, and approve PC hardware for product maintenance and design. Create Engineering Change Orders and product release documents. Support in-house and vendor PC assembly production to ensure efficient, trouble-free systems. Design, code, and validate software tools for use in the manufacturing of Hunter products. Perform software and product testing for validation of product requirements. Coordinate with PC component vendors to test, evaluate, and troubleshoot issues encountered during production or customer use. Communicate technical issues clearly to vendors and internal teams. Additional duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring: A
B achelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
is required. C++ and C# Programming experience is preferred; however, other compiled languages are considered, such as Java or Python Familiarity with relational databases and SQL; networking and using Wireshark. Hands-on working experience with Source Code management tools like TFS or Git. Bash or PowerShell experience is preferred. Knowledge of current computer hardware components. Working on large hardware & software projects within a team-based environment Knowledge and understanding of PC firmware (BIOS and UEFI). Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
