Shift: Shift 1
Hours: 0700-1930 Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and then have the next following week off. Work half of all holidays based on letter of week you are "A vs. B"
The registration lead will work closely with the Assistant Hospital Administrator to help with training new employees to the registration process, helping with scheduling of the department, and be expected to keep the registration staff up to date on their co-pay collection rates and monthly audit scores. The Lead will also attend a quarterly in-person meeting to discuss updates to registration process with the leads from the other community hospital sites.
Job Summary:
The Lead Registration Specialist plays an important role in scheduling, chart audits, and other administrative duties in addition to greeting and registering patients.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 2 years functioning as a Registration Representative in the medical field required. Prior leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of some medical terminology is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Exceptional customer service experience; Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player; Tactfulness Demonstrate willingness to adapt to change; Pleasant phone manner and voice; Able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible Confident positive manner and appearance Proficient PC experience, MS Suite including word, outlook, data entry, and ability to operate general office equipment including the telephone and copy machine Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills; Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives; Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail; Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Ability to work with all levels of staff to define business requirements and goals, and to identify and resolve issues; Ability to foster effective relationships and build consensus through the all levels of leadership in the organization Knowledge and ability to work on large-scale complex projects that include multiple strategic goals and multiple tactical tasks; Knowledge and ability of needs, goals, deliverables and interdependencies of other functional departments Able to keep a positive attitude and problem-solving stance in difficult circumstances, Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability, Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to be extremely effective independently; Skilled in conflict and employee behavioral resolution.
