Job Description
Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Radiation Therapist for the Radiation-Oncology Unit at Overlook Medical Center.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Administers radiation treatments to patients and uses custom fabricated immobilization devices to ensure accuracy of patient treatment.
Maintains patient and billing records, performs daily QA of the linear accelerator, and provides patient education.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Graduate of an approved Radiation Program
Minimum Experience:
1-3 years experience working as a radiation therapist preferred.
Will consider a new graduate.
Knowledge of Varian True Beam, Align RT, Aria and Epic preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Must have a current NJ Radiation Therapist License.
ARRT certified
Additional Qualifications:
Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and care team members.
