Position Summary
The Campbell County Treasurer's Office is seeking a Deputy County Treasurer I to perform the following clerical and accounting duties: filing, answering telephones, cash recording and balancing, typing and data entry, searching records, and accepting payment for motor vehicle license, property taxes, and other fees.
Pay Grade: 103
Qualifications
Experience: One-year related experience in an office environment. Education/Training: Equivalent to high school education with general office training. Also requires knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment, excellent communication skills, maintaining productive working relationships and the ability to work well with the public in a fast-paced government environment with frequent interruptions.
Special Requirements
WORKING CONDITIONS: Essential duties require the following: Working Environment: Minimal exposure to undesirable working conditions. Physical Activities: Essential functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for physical activity such as sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching/stooping/squatting, twisting upper body, and lifting an average of 40 lbs.
