Raytheon, an RTX business, is looking for a
Senior
Systems Engineer
to join our systems engineering team. Our Engineers support technical direction and design to agile software development teams, and other engineering disciplines. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, system capability and feature designs, defining system interfaces and development of acceptance criteria. In this role, you will provide support for the implementation of the program's systems engineering development. To succeed in this role, you must have systems engineering development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology.
The position is full-time, on-site in
Richardson TX, State College PA, Aurora CO, or Dulles VA
What You Will Do
Obtain a polygraph after start
Effectively collaborate with the multi discipline engineering teams to design and develop software systems
Assist in providing technical information and clarification during the entire software development Lifecyle, from conceptualization and design to development, test, and deployment into operations
Perform solution decomposition from customer requirements, to capabilities, to features, to stories according to SAFe Agile practices
Apply systems engineering expertise to reduce overall risk to the development effort working with multidiscipline SMEs to fully understand the solution and document the designs
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years' experience
Systems engineering experience in software systems development using Agile methodologies, including system-level design, integration, test, and verification across the full systems engineering life cycle.
Experience developing solution definition, decomposition, design and acceptance criteria
Domain experience within the IC community, with experience with common GEOINT imagery and data formats.
Experience performing revisions of existing ICDs, APIs, and system specifications, as well as managing requirements development and maintenance using DOORs or similar tools
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in cloud or cloud-hybrid development and deployment environments
Experience with containerized software system architecture
Experience using MBSE processes and tools to capture systems design and elaboration in Cameo or similar tool
Experience performing engineering activities utilizing agile tools: JIRA, CONFLUENCE, JAMA
Understanding of Multi-INT Sensemaking, Orchestration, and Processing concepts

Onsite
: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
