Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the
Staff Accountant
is responsible for being part of maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all aspects of financial and accounting activities at the facility. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, and a collaborative professional responsible for supporting the financial infrastructure of the CFG Bank Arena. This role pays an hourly rate of $32.00-$35.00. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare and execute journal entries. Perform bank reconciliations. Full Cycle AP Full Cycle AR Perform balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain Premium and Sponsorship databases. Maintain general ledgers, revenue distribution, operating expenses, prepaid and accrued expenses accuracy. Track compliance and all provisions of service agreement contracts. Complete monthly close responsibilities to meet tight deadlines. Support facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required Experience & Qualifications: 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting B.S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university is preferred. Can substitute education for work experience. Experience working in entertainment or venues is preferred. The ability to work weekends, nights, holidays as required. Experience with NetSuite and COUPA preferred. Strong knowledge of general accounting is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability. Excellent time management skills. Experience with Microsoft Office programs required.
