We are currently seeking Operators to join our Industrial Services Team. For this position, you will assist with Industrial projects in waste dewatering and processing operations at our client's refinery site in Linden, NJ.
Q: What is Industrial dewatering at our client sites you might be asking yourself?
A: Utilizing a Filter Press, this is a batch operation fixed volume machine that separates liquids and solids using pressure filtration. A slurry is pumped into the filter press and dewatered under pressure. It is used for water and wastewater treatment in a variety of different applications ranging from industrial to municipal.

What will be my responsibilities:
•As part of a team, you will assist with various industrial and dewatering projects in a refinery setting.
•Use hand and power tools and also work on pumps, belt presses and filters too.
•Learn and comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
•Be exposed to indoor and outdoor activities and be scheduled for 12 hour shifts.
•Professionally represent Handex at all times.

Requirements
Skills needed for success:
•High school diploma/GED.
•Vocational Technical education or training in Wastewater, Environmental, Manufacturing, Industrial, Automotive, Mechanical or •Plumbing experience a plus, but not required.
•Exposure working in an industrial, remediation, wastewater, manufacturing, emergency response clean up, oil & gas, pest conrol or chemical operations a plus.
•Ability to work a 4 or 5 day work week and 12 hour shifts (5AM to 5PM). Felxibility with a rotational schedule (some nights and weekends and OT too.
•Military experience a plus.
•Reliable and dependable with a can do attitude a must.
•Comfortable being in an industrial/refinery setting both indoors and outside as well as confined spaces and able to lift 50 lbs.
•Valid driver license in good standing required and willingness to travel to clients sites when needed.
•TWIC card and 40 Hour OSHA a plus. If not, will be required to obtain.
•Must complete and pass pre-employment physical including drug/alcohol as well as criminal checks being approved for a TWIC card.
Salary Range:
$25.00 an hour.
