Ace Hardware Corporation Ace Hardware Corporation is looking for experienced Retail Development Manager (WI) (internally known as Retail Operations Project Manager) nationwide who prospect, sell, lead, develop and manage retail projects (expansions, relocations, renovations, conversions and new ground up stores) primarily in Wisconsin and Illinois. This role is responsible for delivering a solution to our independent store owners using appropriate business measurements and tools per the project setup agreement. This position has overall performance responsibility for selling, managing scope, cost, schedule and contractual deliverables for the project. This includes applying techniques for consultative selling, planning, tracking, change control and risk management. Responsibilities include aligning with Ace’s values, consulting and closing sales of retail projects, inspiring and motivating prospects and stakeholders, planning and developing scope of retail projects, managing resources to meet schedules, assessing retail potential, supporting real estate location reviews, tracking project updates, and visiting sites to ensure proper installation and turnover. Requirements include a B.S./B.A. degree or commensurate experience, capital project selling experience, 2-3 years retail project management experience, knowledge of Ace retail operations, understanding of retail store operations, general building construction knowledge, ability to estimate and schedule projects, review lease criteria, track project updates, lead multiple projects, develop project capitalization workbooks, effective communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce, ability to work independently, flexible hours and travel. Compensation ranges from $101,000 to $115,000 per year.
