The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in service desk, network administration, or a similar role. Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in administering Windows and Linux server environments, including but not limited to installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of networking principles and experience managing network infrastructure – switches, routers, firewalls, and VLANs. Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions and best practices. Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Professional Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively across multiple tasks and deadlines.
