Position Summary:
We are seeking a Vendor Master Data Analyst with strong experience in data stewardship, data quality, and data lifecycle management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of vendor master data across multiple systems and processes, supporting strategic initiatives, data governance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Own and manage vendor master data in alignment with data governance standards and SOPs. Ingest, validate, and maintain vendor records sourced from multiple platforms and stakeholders. Analyze and cleanse vendor data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GxP). Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business process flows, and metadata documentation. Conduct regular data quality reviews, resolve issues, and recommend preventive measures. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and IT to understand data needs, gaps, and improvement opportunities. Support and document end-to-end data flows-from vendor onboarding to reporting and analytics. Manage the Strategic Tender Dashboard data feeding process, ensuring timeliness and data quality. Participate in new data initiatives by defining business cases, gathering requirements, and helping prioritize tasks in alignment with strategic goals. Track and report on data project progress, metrics, and performance improvements. Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in a Data Steward, Data Analyst, or similar role. Demonstrated experience with vendor master data, data governance, data standards, and data quality practices. Experience in data modeling, data analysis, and reporting processes. Working knowledge of data lifecycle management, preferably in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP/MDM systems. Experience in pharma, life sciences, or regulated industries is strongly preferred. Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Science, or a related field. Skills Required:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Ability to lead meetings, working sessions, and workshops across functions. Experience documenting business processes and translating them into data requirements. Capable of identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting improvements. Preferred Skills :
Prior experience with Master Data Management (MDM) systems and tools. Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance regulations in pharma (e.g., GxP, GDPR). Experience working with performance management or KPI dashboards
