We're seeking a
Junior Systems Engineer
to support system architecture, design, and integration activities across high-impact programs. In this role, you'll work with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop documentation, support technical planning, and contribute to the overall system engineering lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for engineers looking to apply their skills on complex technical projects with real-world mission outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to support development of system specifications Assist in creating and maintaining system engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents Support requirements development, allocation, and traceability across hardware, software, and operational components Participate in design reviews, program planning, and cross-discipline technical coordination Contribute to the development of system design solutions that fulfill functional and performance requirements Assist in defining verification methods, test plans, and configuration management processes Support interface definition and system integration across multiple teams throughout the project lifecycle Help derive lower-level requirements and ensure traceability from stakeholder needs to system components Participate in the planning and tracking of work packages, schedules, and risk management activities Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university Five (5) additional years of systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Seven (7) years of experience
as a Systems Engineer supporting programs of similar scope and complexity Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, interface definition, and system integration Familiarity with system development frameworks such as DoDAF or similar methodologies Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Why Apply?
