Full/Part Time Status: Full Time Position Description: The Department of Neurology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics seeks a board-certified/eligible sleep medicine physician to serve as Fellowship Program Director of our ACGME-accredited Sleep Medicine Fellowship. The appointment can be at any faculty rank, either as a Clinical (non-Tenure) or Tenure Track position. Responsibilities include overseeing the fellowship program, teaching, and patient care. Department Facilities: The UIHC Sleep Disorder Center includes outpatient clinics, an eight-bed sleep lab, portable sleep monitoring, home sleep apnea testing, and accredited fellowship programs. The Iowa City VA Hospital offers additional facilities, with a potential joint appointment. Work Schedule and Responsibilities: This position involves clinical work, teaching, and patient care, with a commitment to cover inpatient and consult services. The role offers flexibility to focus on areas of interest within neurology.
