Section Manager - Information Technology
to join our rapidly expanding Technology team in
Hillsboro, OR . Reporting to the Enterprise Technology Support Manager, this role involves leading a team of IT Technicians dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and technical support, ensuring operational efficiency in line with organizational objectives and IT service standards. AI and Innovation All team members will be trained on Microsoft Copilot and encouraged to use it as a core tool in their daily work. Responsibilities A Typical Day Might Include: Coaching, directing, coordinating, and supervising section personnel, including employment and employee relations activities. Ensuring the technical competency and quality of work, supporting computers, mobile devices, applications, and connectivity. Supporting customer service initiatives and business alignment activities. Monitoring team performance metrics, analyzing trends, and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Reviewing and approving work plans, schedules, and resources. Overseeing ticket intake, triage, and escalation procedures; ensuring timely incident response. Providing remote and onsite support using management tools. Identifying training needs and implementing training programs with HR support. Maintaining documentation, asset inventory, and knowledge base resources. Promoting continuous improvement through workflow optimization and automation. Ensuring compliance with IT security and data protection policies. Managing employee relations activities with HR support. Travel may be required. Valid driver’s license needed, with possible waivers for international assignments. Qualifications Qualifications You Need: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of IT experience, including 3-5 years in leadership. Experience in IT support and client support in a corporate setting. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000, depending on location, education, experience, and certifications. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and holidays.
