Must be available on Saturdays. MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST FOR 1 WEEK!Requirements of the Sandblaster Operator:6 months or more of sandblasting experience Must pass E-VerifyMust be able to lift up to 50lbs. throughout the shiftMust speak Spanish or be BilingualMust be comfortable working in a full suit within a sandblasting boothExperience with sandblasting parts manually using a hose/gun.Prior experience in roles such as Sandblaster, Abrasive Blasting Technician, Surface Preparation Technician, Industrial Blaster/Painter, Blaster/Coater, Metal Finisher, Powder Coating Prep Technician, Marine Blaster, Corrosion Control Technician, or Paint Prep Technician is a big plus!Benefits of the Sandblaster Operator: Health and dental benefits availableCal-savers retirement program availableEarn referral bonusesResponsibilities of the Sandblaster Operator:Wear full protective gear and respirator in compliance with safety regulations for abrasive blasting operations.Operate manual sandblasting hose inside a sealed booth to clean and prepare metal parts for powder coating.Review work orders and mask off designated areas to prevent unwanted blasting on sensitive surfaces.Manually blast surfaces using specified abrasive media, ensuring consistent coverage and proper surface profile for coating adhesion.Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and booth systems, including checking air supply lines, respirator filters, and dust collection unitsAll candidates meeting the minimum requirements will receive an SMS invite to an AI-based interview.
