Join Cirrus Logic's innovative team in Austin, TX, as a Senior Staff Software Engineer, where you will contribute to the development of advanced mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) with embedded real-time software, including signal processing algorithms. Responsibilities: Own significant aspects of R&D for IP in world-class ICs with embedded software. Model, assess, and design experiments related to internal/external IP. Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and meet software and other requirements. Interface with and document/present to internal and external customers. Participate in internal product development processes and practices. Coach and mentor software engineers working on advanced ICs.
Required Skills and Qualifications: 7+ years of relevant experience and a Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field. Experience in engineering research and development. Deep knowledge of signal processing, including DSP for audio and non-audio applications. Experience with IP creation and technology innovation in IC development. Proficiency with DSP/math and system modeling software/tools such as MATLAB/Simulink. Knowledge of systems engineering in the context of mixed-signal ICs. Experience with processor architectures and real-time software implementation.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience leading significant IC projects deploying embedded software. Experience working in a global, multi-site environment. Experience with embedded real-time signal processing software. Experience deploying embedded software in mixed-signal IC/SoC contexts. Excellent programming skills, preferably in C, and software development knowledge.
