Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Technology, or related field AND: 8+ years of experience with hands-on installation, testing, validation, construction management, subcontractor management, and troubleshooting of PLC-based BAS and EPMS automation systems in mission-critical buildings. Requirements Position Requirements (Advanced level for all the following)
Multi-discipline Expertise: Background as BAS technician, PLC programmer, and / or electrical foreman—with proven skill in low-voltage terminations, conduit routing, loop testing, and network troubleshooting Project Controls: Proficient in working within construction management platforms and tools such as Procore, BIM 360/Autodesk Build, P6 or MS Project, and Power BI dashboards for field metrics. Codes & Standards: Deep familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV, NFPA 70E, NEC, ISA 88/95, ISA/IEC 62443, UL 508A. Soft Skills: Authoritative leadership, decisive under schedule pressure, clear communicator with both trades and C-suite clients. Certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E Qualified Person, PMP, NICET III/IV (Industrial Instrumentation), Rockwell CREST. Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), along with exceptional organizational skills for file management Skilled in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail Ability to work successfully in a remote environment thru effective communication and organizational skills, self-motivation, proactiveness, and resourcefulness in a distraction-free workspace Ability to interpret AE construction drawings, BAS shop drawings, manufacturers' wiring diagrams, standards documentation, submittals, and product data sheets Other responsibilities as needed Travel / Relocation Requirements
Daily travel to project sites in local region for duration of projects Willing to work extended hours and night shifts during critical cutovers and IST windows. Up to 25% travel to other jobsite locations, this may include travel to any of the 50 US states Additional requirements/qualifications will be discussed and a full job description provided following a call with an Automationtechies recruiter. To comply with some state laws, the annual base salary range for this position has been provided. The range given is broad and should be considered as a guideline only. Our client will consider a candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, the salaries of current employees in similar roles, and other factors when extending an offer.
Compensation: $140,000-$180,000 per year
