Develop Data Visualizations:
Create interactive visualizations on transportation, environmental, and socio-economic data using tools like ArcGIS Online, Tableau, and web applications. Build and Maintain GIS Applications:
Develop GIS-based applications supporting planning initiatives, ensuring usability for diverse stakeholders. Analyze and Integrate Data:
Collect, process, and analyze spatial and non-spatial data to support decision-making. Collaborate Across Teams:
Work with teams to identify data needs, providing visualization solutions, support, and training. Innovate and Improve:
Stay updated with industry trends to implement new technologies and methodologies. Key Qualifications
Experience in Data Visualization and GIS, especially in transportation, environmental, and socio-economic analysis. Proficiency in tools like ArcGIS Online, Tableau, and relevant software. Strong data management and programming skills (Python, SQL, R, SAS). Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Problem-solving skills and a drive for innovation. Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Data Science, or related field; internship experience preferred. Up to 5 years of relevant experience in government, nonprofits, or educational roles. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Geography, or related fields. Practical experience with Python, ArcGIS, and Tableau. Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually. Additional Details
