Title: Technical Procurement Analyst Duration: 6+ months Job Summary: The Technical Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting the procurement process for related technical equipment, services, and solutions. This role involves analyzing procurement needs, managing vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications technology, procurement processes, and data analysis to optimize supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Analysis: Evaluate technical requirements, including hardware, software, and telecommunications services, to identify cost-effective procurement strategies. Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and reliable delivery schedules. Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory requirements. Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data, market trends, and supplier performance metrics to support decision-making and cost-saving initiatives. Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and prevent supply chain disruptions. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, vendor performance, or technological obsolescence. Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and reduce costs. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement strategies with technical and business objectives. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier metrics to senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a technical analyst role, preferably in telecommunications or IT industries. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with systems, telecommunications equipment (e.g., routers, switches, 5G infrastructure), and related technologies. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Tableau). Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Knowledge of procurement software (e.g., Ariba, Coupa) and ERP systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Certifications (Preferred): Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent.
