We are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at our San Jose, CA location as a Firmware Engineer . In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components for precise plasma process control used in memory chip production, touch screens, sensors, smartphones, and tablets. What will you do? Design and develop real-time embedded systems for Gen3 platform RF match products Architect multi-processor embedded systems running various RTOS Participate in peer code reviews Document designs and code following industry best practices Collaborate with Verification team to create test plans and troubleshoot system-level issues Run unit tests and debug embedded code Who are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field 2+ years relevant experience; 5-7+ years preferred for this role Experience in signal processing and control systems Proficiency in C/C++, Python Experience with RTOS design, PCBA board bring-up, ARM Cortex architecture, SPI, I2C, Ethernet/EtherCat is highly preferred The target salary range is approximately $145,000 to $160,000 annually.
