Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Practice Builder, Forensic/Mechanical Engineer to expand our practice in our Miami, Florida office. Responsibilities Market and win work in forensic accident reconstruction, premise liability, mechanical failure analysis, and investigations. Lead business development efforts and manage relationships with key clients. Conduct vehicular accident reconstruction, provide technical findings, and support conclusions in depositions and trials. Develop client relationships, retain clients, and grow the forensic engineering team. Author professional publications, participate in societies, and maintain technical knowledge. Support firm growth in forensics and mechanical practices. Perform structural design calculations, site investigations, and technical reporting. Lead, mentor, and manage projects profitably, with opportunities for ownership. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited); advanced degree preferred. PE license required. 10+ years in Forensics, with 5+ years managing projects. Training in accident reconstruction; ACTAR certification preferred. Proven client and project management skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MathCAD, VCrash is a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills. Why Kimley-Horn?
