POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance to the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position provides overall direction, support and integration of the functional aspects for Enrollment Services, Advising, Admissions and Student Records. Primary lead for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the PeopleSoft system and OnBase. Work closely with users from start to completion of projects. Define, develop and deliver user training for application and solutions. Works closely with Systems Analysts during application system implementation and upgrades, identifying changes and the impact to users, developing training materials, testing and ensuring knowledge transfer of changes to users. Assists with interpretation and application of district and state policies and regulations. This position requires advanced technical skills to maintain over 200 daily complex processes used for maintaining transcripts, graduation compliance, student term activation, enrollment and student records. This position will ensure those system processes are compliant to Department of Education, ICCB and other regulatory bodies. Troubleshoot and/or implement fix any processes that are broken or need regulation updates.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in related field required.
2. One year of experience in implementation, upgrade or production support of software systems.
3. One year of experience and in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft applications, preferred.
4. One year of experience with PeopleSoft reporting tools and security preferred.
5. Experience in Student Records functioning and processing.
6. Three years of experience with Higher Education functions, regulations and compliance, required.
7. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
SALARY
Grade 4 on the Administrative pay scale, ranging from $63,750 to $79,700 per year.
