Overview
The Senior Data Analyst will deliver and manage dashboards, reports, and perform all data library and governance duties. The Senior Data Analyst must master EPIC Analytics and Meditech Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA) module. The BCA core is augmented with outside data pools to expand the scope and reach into the community or beyond, which extends BCA into the realm of a full-service data analytic platform.
The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience including EPIC, Meditech Expanse Patient Access, Clinicals, Revenue Cycle, and Financial Management to help the organization make data-driven decisions to improve healthcare quality and safety. The candidate should also have a strong foundation in data analytics processes, design, governance, dashboarding, reporting, and data analytic/statistical tools (RedCap, SQL, Power BI, Excel, etc.). The candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, have solid assessment skills, focus on high-quality output, be a good time manager, thrive in an environment working alone, or as a team member interfacing with at all organization levels. The Senior Data Analyst will be an integral part of the performance improvement team and serve the enterprise via a data governance methodology.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Actuary Marketing, or any related field from an accredited institution is required. The candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience working with healthcare clinical and financial data. The role requires a strong understanding of data structure and governance. Experience working with business and healthcare staff, managers, and leaders. The candidate must have excellent knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques. Organized individual, with prioritization and time management skills Must work effectively under deadlines and manage multiple projects with evolving requirements. Possess strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities that can thrive in a cross-functional setting. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Must be able to function in a team-oriented environment and interact professionally with employees and management at all levels. The Senior Data Analyst must be willing to adhere to ethical practices and adhere to confidentiality. Must value operating in a collaborative and cooperative environment. The candidate must reflect initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.
