We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic and growing team in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our interior design studio, you will lead complex projects from concept through completion-delivering innovative design solutions in the healthcare, science & technology, and higher education sectors.
Key Responsibilities Lead interior design projects from initial concept through design development, documentation, and construction. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering creative, functional, and code-compliant interior environments. Develop and present interior design concepts that align with client goals and the firm's design standards. Oversee project documentation including interior construction documents, finish specifications, and FF&E packages. Manage project schedules, contracts, deliverables, and budgets to ensure on-time, profitable completion. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants across disciplines to ensure cohesive project integration. Mentor junior interior designers and oversee team performance and development. Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA standards, and company quality guidelines. Promote the firm's brand and build strong client relationships through professional communication and service. Contribute to business development by supporting proposals and client presentations. Stay current with interior design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable practices. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture (CIDA-accredited program preferred) 8+ years of interior design experience, ideally with healthcare, science/technology, or higher education projects Proficiency in Revit; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and other design tools a plus Strong conceptual design and space planning skills Experience working on mid- to large-scale projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, team collaboration, and client-facing experience Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy NCIDQ Certification preferred LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials a plus Why Join Us ?
