The Processing, Security, and Configuration Design team is responsible for delivering high-performance processing and security subsystems. We are seeking experienced SoC Logic Design Engineers to help Altera provide world-class SoC capabilities to their FPGA solutions. What You Will Do Develop logic design, RTL coding, and simulation for SoC design; integrate logic of IP blocks and subsystems into full chip SoC or discrete components. Participate in defining architecture and microarchitecture features. Perform quality checks from RTL to timing/power convergence. Apply strategies, tools, and methods to write RTL and optimize logic to meet power, performance, area, and timing goals. Review verification plans and implementation; ensure features are verified correctly and implement corrective measures for RTL tests. Follow secure development practices addressing security threats and objects. Work with IP providers to integrate and validate IPs at the SoC level; drive quality assurance for IP-SoC handoff. Salary Range Our compensation reflects US labor costs. Actual salary varies based on location, experience, skills, and training.
