Mainframe Developer
to enhance and maintain specialized commercial banking systems supporting the floral industry. The role focuses on
custom floral AR/AP workflows
and
mainframe-to-ERP integrations
for perishable goods financing. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain
custom COBOL programs
for floral accounts receivable/payable (AR/AP) workflows including, Perishable inventory collateral tracking, Floral industry chargeback handling Build and support
mainframe interfaces Core banking systems (Fiserv/Symitar) Floral ERP platforms (Floranext, FloristWare) Modernize legacy floral accounting modules while maintaining z/OS compliance Technical Requirements: 8+ years IBM z/OS development (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2)
Custom AR/AP program logic
for industry-specific billing
Mainframe-to-ERP integrations
(IDMS, MQ, or API gateways), Floral accounting cycles, Perishable collateral management, Financial file structures (ACH, EDI 820)
Floral/agricultural banking systems
