Senior Manager, Technology Management - Software Engineering

Fidelity Investments . The Role Our goal at Fidelity Charitable is to design and build capabilities supporting legal, regulatory, and compliance needs. You will manage engineering associates, oversee delivery, and hold technical ownership of a portfolio of applications within the Orchestration team. You will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, cloud-based technology solutions aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. Manage application delivery and technical ownership of assigned portfolios. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Support and promote engineering best practices, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Plan and lead strategic technology initiatives. Build strong relationships with technology and business partners. Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, and API Full Stack Development. Experience with AWS is a plus. 2-3 years in people management with proven leadership skills. Strong background in cloud-scale engineering, modern agile methodologies, CI/CD practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Mentoring and coaching abilities, with a commitment to learning.
