Last Mile PMO is looking for a highly proficient and motivated Senior Program Manager to drive operational plans, long-term strategy, high volume events planning and PMO workstreams closely partnering with cross-functional teams. The Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in leading strategic reviews and developing the appropriate mechanisms to ensure readiness for NA AMZL Operations during Peak and Off-Peak timelines. The Senior Program Manager will establish the right framework for program management, to identify the critical path, drive accountability and identify bottlenecks. In this role, they will also work with business stakeholders across AMZL, and additional NA Operations business units where applicable. This position will work in a highly strategic and programmatic role. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible to write strategic documents and influence large groups of senior stakeholders. This position must be able to turn ambiguous problems into simple solutions. A successful candidate for this possesses superb business judgment, a high degree of customer-obsession, has a track record of delivering results, is strong on collaboration, and is data driven. Key job responsibilities: Drive complex cross team programs at various stages of lifecycle Create transparency and predictability with roadmaps, planning, and partner management Drive programs to deliver goals on time and exceeding our quality bar Manage delivery schedules and emergent tasks while mitigating risks, managing tradeoffs, and eliminating blockers Participate/collaborate in strategic planning meetings, surfacing and mitigating risks, driving strategic planning documentation, and identifying opportunity to create efficiencies Set and embody the strong team culture and standards consistent with Amazon's leadership principals Drive alignment with leadership across internal AMZL teams and partner business teams in LMT, Fleet, Safety, ACES and PXT, amongst many others Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of program or project management experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of driving process improvements experience Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field PMP Demonstrated ability working in an ambiguous environment Executive level written and oral communication skills Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, MS Excel, or Microsoft Access Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using data to drive decisions in a business environment Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organization Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives Executive level written and oral communication skills Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
