Position Overview We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Technical Consulting team. In this role, you’ll lead complex building envelope and architectural projects from investigation through construction closeout. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant, and technically sound solutions that meet project goals and timelines. What You’ll Do Manage multiple architectural and exterior wall consulting projects from start to finish. Lead and coordinate all technical and administrative project efforts. Conduct site inspections (ground, roof, scaffolding, sub-grade) with a regular field presence (25%–50%). Review and produce technical documents including drawings, specifications, reports, and proposals. Ensure compliance with the NYC building code, industry standards, and internal QA/QC processes. Serve as the primary client contact and maintain strong professional relationships. Mentor and guide technical staff on project-specific tasks. Prepare and present technical reports, meeting minutes, and construction documents. Navigate NYC regulatory processes for project filings and approvals. Oversee mockup testing, submittal reviews, and construction administration. Troubleshoot complex project issues and develop effective solutions. Occasionally travel outside the local area based on project needs. What You’ll Bring Required: 12+ years of experience in architectural consulting, project management, or exterior envelope systems. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Engineering. Strong knowledge of NYC building code, façade systems, and historic preservation standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. OSHA 10-hour safety certification (minimum). Actively pursuing or holding a Professional Licensure (RA or PE). Ability to obtain/maintain NYC DOB-supported scaffold certifications (4HR/16HR). : Experience with forensic investigation, façade restoration, and construction practices in NYC. Familiarity with public review processes and regulatory agencies. Work Environment & Schedule This position is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule. Standard working hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Travel requirements: Occasional, based on project needs. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $130,000 – $150,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
