Job Description:
Position Overview: Our Project Management practice group is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with extensive experience in ERP implementations to support a global Healthcare Devices/Life Sciences client based in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented leader who applies project management techniques to facilitate collaboration and implement ERP processes effectively. Key Responsibilities: Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units, manufacturing/site operations, technology groups, and ERP functional teams to navigate conflicting priorities. Foster strong relationships at both technical and business levels. ERP System Implementation: Lead teams in implementing ERP systems, demonstrating a strong understanding of procurement, product lifecycle, workflow, and relevant processes. Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of assigned projects/programs, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and risk management to ensure successful delivery in a dynamic environment. Proactive Management: Manage execution progress, communications, reporting, resource allocation, change management, and conflict resolution to ensure milestones are achieved within the planned timeline. Lifecycle Management: Ensure projects/programs progress appropriately through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including definition, analysis, design, development, testing, training, and deployment. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors, effectively navigating complex political environments. Present product updates to senior-level stakeholders, welcoming feedback and implementing changes swiftly. Lead the team in addressing all program/project issues and impediments promptly. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Senior IT Project Manager, particularly in ERP implementations. Strong analytical skills with a customer-centric approach. Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships across various levels. Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and bring structure to projects. Experience managing complex projects with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
